1. Service Description
OnDuti provides AI-assisted customer communication and operations services on behalf of residential home service businesses (“Service Providers”). When you contact a Service Provider that uses OnDuti, or sign up through the OnDuti messaging program, you may receive automated and agent-assisted responses about appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, seasonal maintenance reminders, and review requests.
2. SMS Messaging Program Terms
Program:OnDuti delivers text messages on behalf of residential home service businesses. By providing your mobile phone number — either by texting a Service Provider's OnDuti-provisioned number, submitting a form on a Service Provider's website or booking widget, signing up at /sms, or providing it verbally or in person — you consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated SMS messages from the Service Provider you contacted, delivered via OnDuti.
Message types: appointment scheduling and confirmations, appointment reminders, service follow-ups, quote follow-ups, seasonal maintenance reminders, review requests, and technician arrival updates.
Frequency: message frequency varies based on your service activity. A typical open service request produces between 1 and 6 messages.
Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. OnDuti does not charge you for receiving messages.
Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation and will not receive further messages unless you re-initiate contact or opt back in.
Opt back in: reply STARTor text the Service Provider's number with a new inquiry.
Help: reply HELP for assistance, or email support@onduti.ai.
Supported carriers:all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Google Fi, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent not required for purchase: your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Privacy
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. AI-Generated Responses
Responses may be generated by AI models acting on behalf of the Service Provider. While we work to keep responses accurate, final appointment availability, pricing, and service details should be confirmed directly with the Service Provider.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. OnDuti does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and is not responsible for the quality of work performed by Service Providers or for messaging delays caused by carriers.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnDuti is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service and reflected in the “Effective” date above.
